BBC World on PBS seemed very negative about Kerry tonight....
I caught most of the guy reporting from Washington...He said going after Bush on Iraq was a HUGE RISK (negative impact on war, I think he was saying that) and he basically said that Kerry's 4 point plan was mostly just like what Bush has been doing AND seemed to be intimating that Kerry was losing ....his final word was that to rely on the debates, putting all eggs into that basket, was pretty lousy.

I was pretty bummed out by it...

Who knows what his agenda is?..sounds like it's rightwing agenda!

I was Jazzed by Kerry's speech as were a lot of People..and bush is Not doing any of that ..what Kerry said was true.

So, I guess we'll just have to hear from some other folks..the People in the audience at New York University were estactic!

4. Not reporting planned withdrawal of British troops YET, either.
Have they crossed, too?

5. It was just awful. I saw it too. I just looked across the table at my
husband and asked where we would now go for the truth. I couldn't believe it Gloria. I'm glad I'm not the only one. I thought I was nuts for a second there.

7. I listen to the BBC World Service via shortwave and they usually
get it right, although they've had the tendency to say Kerry voted for the war...
But they run a lot of interviews about Iraq that are much more in depth and skeptical than anything here in the US.

However....I wonder if this broadcast is geared specifically to the US?? I rarely watch it, so I'm not sure...

I also wonder if they are getting screwed over their own reporting problems earlier this year....(re: Kelly "suicide")

8. CNN International is much more fair and professional than....
CNN. Is it possible that BBC America is biased to fit in with America's censored news?

9. sounds like the usual, go straight to the horse race and
announce that Kerry is finished. No discussion of who actually is right, or makes sense. What a bore.

10. The British Press Tends to Take a Downbeat, Skeptical VIew on Everything
I don't think they're so much biased against Kerry as they are prone to being a much more cynical, skeptical press than the American press. On the other hand, they're much better at analysis and going into a subject in-depth.

PBS was beating on Kerry and CBS. I did however enjoy the debate between the Nader guy and the Dem.
