I think we can lose only 1, unless we can get Snowe, which I think is unlikely. Conrad seems completely obsessed with his co-op option. I suspect that Schumer was laying the case for a near victory being a positive result for the work on the floor. This committee is more conservative than the Senate as a whole. If they can get say 10 or 11 votes - then if you look at the results in the HELP committee and the Finance committee combined - the committees are narrowly in favor of the PO.
