Video: Grassley on Medicare: Government is a "Predator" But Medicare is Wonderful

Republicans are morons, and they don't care.

Ried ask and answers a question:

...So why hasn't reform been done by now?...

To the detriment of the rest of us, Republicans in Congress are determined to achieve their stated goal -- make health care reform President Obama's "Waterloo" and defend the status quo at all costs...

But with 60 Senators in the Democratic caucus, these are the new faces of obstruction:

1. One of the commenters about Baucus said (hope it's true):
I think it’s obvious now that Baucus has more respect for his money than he does the American People. A majority (60%+) of Montanans support the public option. Max’s days in office are numbered. His poll numbers are already in the tank.

2. They don't need to care about
the people. If he loses the election then he will have a real well paying job waiting for him, if he pulls through he is proven all powerful leader of the Finance committee.

3. we just need him out of the way
I will forgo the satisfaction of seeing him suffering for the manner in which he has betrayed all of us, if we can just get him the hell out of the way.

4. It's easy to blame Republicans
But the Democrats have to share in the blame since they are always conceding to the Pukes. With the clear majority victory last November, the Dems had all the incentive and momentum to get the job done. But they refused. They could have said ''we made a contract with the majority and must now keep our word''. But they took the cowards way out and refuse to comply with their promise.

No, this will not be Obama's Waterloo. To me, it will be the Democrats Waterloo. As I and several indys have said on this and other forums, if the Dems fail to deliver on the public option, our days of voting Democrat will be over. The reason being that voting Democrat invariably means voting Republican because of these endless concessions.

It's time for the promises made in the DNC platform to be delivered. Failure to do so means the party will lose my vote henceforth. And unlike the Dem party, I do NOT compromise.
