AMA issues warning on Palin's book.......

The AMA issued a news release today...

An AMA study of 1000 volunteers, showed that Sarah Palin's book, 'Going Rogue' can actually lower your IQ in ONE reading. The AMA selected 2000 volunteers for a random study and issued standard IQ tests so set their 'baseline' IQ.

A random selection of 1000 read "Going Rogue" and another 1000 read various other books. After the week long reading, both groups were given another IQ test. The Palin group showed a drop in IQ of an average of 30% where the other group, who did not read Palin's book, had no change or a slight rise in IQ. The AMA has taken the unusual stance of requesting that the publishers put a warning on the cover of the book that says

"WARNING: the AMA has determined that reading this book WILL lower your IQ"

The publisher of "Going Rogue" has not yet responded to the AMA request, but did respond with this statement:

"We are not worried about the IQ of the readers of this book. We don't think that people who want to read this book are worried about their IQ being lowered!".
