The mindless teabaggers go wherever they're told.
Edited on Thu Nov-05-09 01:19 PM by jenmito
Kind of sad that they just follow the crazies-whatever is asked of them. They're now in DC on orders of Michelle Bachmann, saluting the flag, and listening to the crazy RWers, cheering when they throw out words like "ACORN" and "Socialism" and chant, "KILL THE BILL!"

It's scary how many members of Congress are out there speaking to and agreeing with these (fellow) nuts! Matt Kinney, COP and president of Freedom works just said, "I have a prediction. In the not-so-distant future, this day will go down in history as the day you killed healthcare!" (paraphrased but pretty darn close)

1. They're scary that way. Which is why it's good to keep a close eye
on the messages they receive from their leaders. Still remember the "palling around with terrorists" comment from Princess DimBulb and the nastiness that ensued.

4. Yup. These people are dangerous! And it's Repubs. in CONGRESS involved in this!
They're inciting violence if you ask me.

2. What else do these Republican members of Congress have to do these days?
Seriously. They don't craft legislation.

Their only job now is to obstruct. So if they weren't doing this today, they might be flying paper airplanes in their offices and playing Solitaire on their computers.

7. The Republicans have always worked hard for America.
Mark Foley stayed busy writing smutty messages to the young Pages.

Mr. Wide Stance was constantly out cruising a men's room somewhere. (No doubt looking for terraists!)

David Vitter is out on the taxpayer's dime buying diapers and looking for his next hooker.

Jim Inhofe is ignoring Mother Nature, and depositing "campaign donations" from the oil companies while bridges in Oklahoma crumble and fall on people, killing them.

Tom Coburn is busy putting holds on legislation that would help our veterans. (Supportin' the troops.) And when he's not doing that, he's protecting the public health by warning us about all those lesbians down in the southern part of the state!

Cunningham was cutting deals to save the taxpayers some money. Oh, wait...those deals were for his benefit, only. (Nevermind.)

The GOP is always busy looking out for themselves the American people.

9. Exactly! I swear to god we need to start a meme around how they spend their days
While they cruise, American workers productivity is way up. Americans are being worked to the bone and in many cases without health insurance. Meantime, Republicans in Congress play games with scripts written by lobbyists.

3. The Dems should do a fly over and release some sort of powder down onto the group.
It could be flour, or something benign. Then tell them all it's a cancer-causing chemical, and their health policies have all just been canceled due to their pre-existing conditions!

5. Astroturf doesn't have "grassroots"
The teabaggers are the ultimate followers. They trust corporations and corporate whores more than their neighbors.

They're nothing more than trained seals.

11. I don't think that's true. The teabaggers just get more media coverage.
We could hold a rally twice as large to demand single payer, and it would be ignored by the corporate media.

8. Hilarious
Good God. They really have dredged up every wackjob celeb they could find, too, didn't they? Cliff Clavin and Jon Voigt. Is Chuck Norris there, too?

It just amazes me. During the teabag-o-rama in August, I just had to believe that a majority of Americans were just laughing at the idiocy of this stuff. And, looking at the massive NOT-drop in Obama and healthcare's approval ratings, I think I was right.

The more of these insane rallies they hold, shrieking about socialism and Obama destroying America (with Cantor going so far as to say, "Not one Republican vote!"), the better the Dems look. I don't think the Dems have gone far enough, but seriously, these people are a laughingstock - if they weren't so scary. But I just have to again trust that the majority of people are looking at them as the nuts that they are.

10. They don't even have to tell them where to go
They just need to pull up a tea party bus and the lemmings will line up to get on.

12. Andrea Mitchell just asked Eric Cantor if he's comfortable with the teabaggers' signs...
showing pics of the Holocaust, saying, "Get the red out of the White House," and much worse. Cantor said he doesn't approve personal attacks, but the "tens of thousands of protestors" outside the WH prove the people don't want "Obama/Pelosicare" healthcare reform. :eyes:

"mindless" and "teabaggers" are redundancies...
