1. ...crickets chirping...
Five open threads on a little girl with a torn sign. Twenty, forty, SEVENTY posts! All this energy we're expending on this is energy that we're NOT expending on getting John Kerry elected.

Jeeeeez.

2. We're all unsure of the outcome but sure of our vote.
That's all that matters. The campaign is just starting in NPW (Normal People World). They have questions, etc. but will wait until the first debate. That is literally the first time that the public en masse will see Kerry. Only about 20 million saw the convention. The debates have a huge audience and people talk about them. Look for Kerry to pull a couple of Lloyd Bensten's (remember the hapless Dan Quayle, "I knew John Kennedy, John Kennedy was a friend of mind...and you're no John Kennedy." POINT, MATCH, F***ING GAME. It will rock our world.

3. That was a great moment. I had a thought that Kerry could remark
about *'s charm and whatever not helping him do his job properly. Everyone says * is the guy they could bar hop with. Why would that be a Presidential requirement?

4. I totally disagree with that "conventional wisdom." I like it that Kerry
snowboards and windsurfs, plays the guitar, and was a real soldier, and saved at least 2 people's lives in separate incidents. THAT dude has some real stories he could tell you over a beer. Shrubya's stories would just be about his drunken escapades.

5. I agree a beer or whatever could be a enlightening evening. A beer night
with the pissant would probably end up with his face falling in his own puke. Mad Dog days.

8. I am sure Kerry will win and the child deserves a caring father.

Seriously, if someone knowingly exploits a child, as this jackass did, he can hardly be a fit parent.

The other irony is that * screens rallies so carefully, the shithead with the kid would have been arrested for that sort of stunts at a */Cheney rally.
