I'm depressed, I didn't see Kerry today like I expected. I just wanted you
to know. I'm not looking for sympathy I am just letting those who thought I was going to meet him know. I'm still voting for him with a very happy heart but I really want to get our message to him now. Everyone on here probably knew before I did so I may not be telling you anything new.

9. he was arriving here in Madison
Edited on Sun Sep-26-04 07:03 PM by Vote_Clark_In_WI
to start his debate prep in Spring Green (about 30 miles away).

It really was quite cool to see him in a smaller setting, shake his hand, tell him "Don't back off on him" (meaning bush) edited to add that he responded, "I won't." and get my stuff signed (though the secret service almost pounced on me because I had a pen in my hand... "put the pen away, put the pen away, put the pen away...she's got a pen..." as I was putting it away as fast as I could!!!

I hope you do get a chance to meet him.

16. Great story, I was going to give him a note from DUer's and ask for a
visit to DU and or a interview with AAR, maybe Randi Rhodes. She would come unglued and that would be fun. LOL

4. Sorry I was told he would be at a Union meeting in CA. He must be really
busy. I will still fight for him because he speaks for me. when he's president I will be over this for a long time. His becoming President is way more important than my feeling for this day.

6. I understand..I'd be feeling the same
way if I was geared up to see Kerry. But, maybe you'll still get to.

I don't see any plans for them coming to New York.:(

But, hey..I was thinking of going to the Inaugeration!:)

10. You know my hubby feels he let me down, I could use that to get him to go
to the Inaugeration. He hates the city but he was dissappointed too.

14. I'd have to know the circumstances to
to know if I thought Kerry personally "let you down".

That would be quite a way to go from Cal to Washington D.C.!

I think I'm going to love the city a lot more when we get bush and his stinky cadre outta there!

8. Someone was pulling your leg.
He is in Spring Green Wi. prepping for the debate, and I heard of his plans already early last week.

11. he did have to cancel
a couple of appearances yesterday or the day before (I thought in Ohio), because of his laryngitis. He was very sparing in using his voice today. Only spoke for a few minutes, though we had been warned that he might not talk at all.
