Message From Chad Shue
Chad Shue is a Dean Supporter who decided to run for 28th Precinct Committee Officer in Washington State's District 38

Shue's statement:
"On September 14th I won my first ever election. On December 1st I will be the officially elected PCO (Precinct Committee Officer) for the 28th precinct in Washington State?s 38th Legislative District. I Have the Power!

Oh sure, it's not Congressman, Senator, Governor or President; it doesn't even come with a paycheck, but it is the first line of political communication with my neighbors. As a PCO, I will vote on District and County party officers and sit on the rules and platform committees. And I am not alone. I am proud to be amongst many who have answered Howard Dean's call to service. Coming out of the Dean for America campaign and into the Democracy for America movement, dozens of Washington citizens have run for and been elected to PCO this year.

For so many of us, the Dean campaign was a wake up call. The thing that genuinely touched me among the truths Governor Dean tells is that we can only blame the Republicans for so much of our situation. The fact is, too many of us were asleep at the wheel while our country was being carjacked.

This election is only the beginning.
There is much work to be done and so many more people to reach out to and bring into the process. As Governor Dean said so many times, "This campaign is not about electing Howard Dean president; it is about restoring our sense of community." I could not be more confident in the team of people I am associated with. We are Dean Democrats and we are taking our country back.

—Chad Shue
PCO Everett 28

1. A friend of mine just was elected to the St. Louis
Library Board. Now we don't have right wingnuts running the library board. Every litttle bit helps.
