Edited on Fri Jan-09-04 08:05 PM by Wife_of_a_Wes_Freak
Because earlier someone blasted me (while I was posting a pro-Dean, anti-bush thread). His comment was that we'd fall short... I believe he said the train would sputter. Try 10k in an hour. Some sputter, huh?

Ka-chug, ka-chug, ka-ching!

Editing: make that 10k in 30 minutes.

No one could shake their head at $2M bucks. If Clark gets it, more power to him. Some candidates can do it in days, not weeks. That being said, I still appreciate the committment from his supporters.

If you can't play nice with others, you're only hurting your candidate.

I've seen numerous Dean supporters (who I respect) urging other Dean supporters to stop attacking candidates, and just spend their energy supporting and promoting Dean. They fear these silly attacks will only make Dean look bad.

It doesn't make him look bad in my eyes... it just makes you look scared and disgruntled.

Iggy make you go bye-bye now. I prefer to live in a world of peace loving Dean supporters.

24. General Clark fought a war against genocide in Bosnia and Kosovo
Edited on Fri Jan-09-04 10:00 PM by saywhat
That's exactly the kind of war that stopped the Nazi's. I applaud the General for demanding an end to the Eastern European atrocities. When he offended the military powers that be by doing so, his military career was effectively axed. This is not, IMHO, the kind of ethical behavior one would expect from a corporate and military whore.

General Clark is a true American hero. He will make the most magnificent president since JFK.

27. Yeah, and Bush was a "hero" for war in Iraq to end
...the "humanitarian crisis" there too- the mass graves, murder of Kurds, etc? Right?? We can't justify bombing people to "save them" because it usually makes matters worse (ie: 180K serbs who were cleansed after Clark left) and there's no limit to where we can interfere.

And Clark didn't get terminated for stoping the atrocities. He was terminated for issues of "integrity", partially because he ordered the bombing of Russian soldiers which could have led to a major international conflict.

the genocide. Reports were all over the print media (t.v. whores of course wouldn't speak much of such matters) about ongoing systematic mass rape and genocide.

*'s invasion into Iraq had no such justification. If mass killings happened they were many years ago, and were not the reason His Lowness supposedly went to war. That reason was, REMEMBER, the non-existent WMD.

Try again.
