One-minute case against George Bush
Because the media thinks Americans need a short and simple message, I've decided to create one:

In the months following one of the gravest tragedies this nation has ever faced, President Bush capitalized on America’s support for him by passing some of the most vile right wing legislation seen in almost 50 years. He then stubbornly and blindly pursued a war with Iraq, utilizing intelligence that was then regarded as questionable at best. The Iraq war has now cost the lives of more than 1,000 American soldiers, and has diverted vital resources from the multinational effort to track down and kill Osama Bin Laden, the perpetrator of the September 11th attacks. The Iraq war has cost the taxpayers of American hundreds of billions of dollars, and has diverted attention away from the crippling economy and the tragic health care situation in the country. This President is the first President in a hundred years to actually lose American jobs at a time when 160,000 new jobs are required every month just to keep pace with the expanding work force. Soldiers continue to serve some of the longest tours of duty ever in Iraq, and the situation there has grown worse with each passing day, while Bush’s friends get rich on building contracts. All this time, President Bush has stubbornly refused to acknowledge that these problems – which are obvious to any rational American not living in a fantast world – are significant ones.

I'd like to create something that we can send to pundits or to Kerry. If you guys have anything you'd like to change or add, please go ahead and do so.

1. Let's be technically accurate
Bush is the only president in 72 years to have a job loss (job
destruction) record.

Also, Iraq is much more likely to be a second Iran in the ME than
a democracy... current reports show that schools all over Iraq are
now teaching fundamentalist religion studies rather than science
and engineering and other disciplines.

2. Excellent, keep them coming
I kind of wrote this on a whim, so I wouldn't be surprised if I made another mistake or two

3. Yes, just include numbers whenever you can and
They'll lend you credibilty. For example, which of these two statements would you trust more?
1) "Over the past few years, under our current president, a lot of jobs have been lost. This has not happened since a long time ago."
2) "Over the past 4 years, 3,092,870 jobs have been lost with our current leadership. Something like this hasn't happened since 72 years ago.
