has kerry attended any funerals of fallen soldiers?
of course we know bush denies their existence.

i would love to see kerry announce, during the debates perhaps, that:

"my first act as president will be to honor our fallen soldiers that, for too long, have been denied that final dignity by a president more concerned with hiding the truth than doing what's right"

1. Kerry
I think he has for the ones that were from Massachusets
Since he is not President yet, i dont think he has attended any others.
With him our 44th President, we wont have any more funerals

2. no, and it wouldn't be right for him to... it would be ....
called 'political'. It's not his position, but it IS Chimpy's and it SHOULD be made a point and and issue.

3. No
The press would eat him alive for taking advantage of the dead.

6. the press will eat him alive for one thing or another anyway.
best to ignore that and do what will resonate with voters.

i agree that this should be phrased carefully, and perhaps my suggested quote was not ideal.

but kerry can certainly call attention to it one way or another.

personally, i like the word "disgraceful" in describing shrub's refusal to attend military funerals.

4. It would only be proper for him to attend
funerals in Massachusetts in his role as a Senator and I don't know if he has. I think that a simple reversal of the policy by presidential edict would be the correct thing to do. It would be nice to see the same sort of thing that they do in Great Britain. Each fallen soldier's coffin is met with great solemnity by a military honor guard, muffled drums and bagpipes, a member of the Royal Family, etc. and properly and publicly honored. They are not shoved under the rug as our current administration seems to think appropriate. I don't necessarily think that President Kerry has to be personally present at each funeral, but he or John Edwards could meet each returning flight.

7. Has Frist? Hatch? Lott?
or any other Senators R or D?

probably.

but the *moron hasn't.

still hoping that Kerry will pull all of the forces out as first act, replaced immediately with UN forces, whatever the costs.
