Great response proposed to latte-ad by Club for Growth.
librechik, in the middle of another thread, posted that the latte-ad should be responded to with an ad like:

George W. should take his

"environment-pollutin', job-exportin', cheap-foreign-labor-exploitin', tax-evadin', oil-burnin', Iraqi-killin', Constitution-shreddin', fear-mongering right wing freak show out of Washington and take it"

to the moon, where it belongs.

------------------------------------

Does anyone here have the phone number of someone with pull at the Dean campaign or the Move On organization to actually get this aired?

If so, please call that person with her suggestion.

3. You're kidding, right?
"Iraqi-killin', Constitution-shreddin'" - yes, that will play well with middle America. Yes, that will work well in the south.

If this is a serious example of what Dean folks think is an effective ad....

News flash - it ain't - unless of course getting destroyed in the GE is the goal, in which case it's a sure winner.

Lord, save us from ourselves.

5. No, by all means use your own parameters

Heaven forbid actual political strategy should come into play.

You might actually win if you did that, but that takes all the fun out of the revolution, eh?

"Do you here the people sing, singing the songs of angry men"

Remember how that turned out? Nice model to use, though.

"Iraqi-killing" or "Constitution-shredding" and bash him exclusively on the issues. Unfortunately, there is only 1 DUer for every 30 average swing voters.

7. Why not have the "Constitution-shredding" phrase for people
Why not have the "Constitution-shredding" phrase for people who care about civil liberties?

8. It would be wiser
and more effective to stay above childish name calling in a like-mannered response ad.
Actually I think the latte-drinking ad is funny and highlights how out of touch the pubbies are. I actually thought it was a tongue-in-cheek ad at first and didn't realize it was supposed to be serious.

16. Nice way to exploit a child
as if a 3 year old has the intellectual capacity to make such a decision.
It's a bit offensive.
