The following email is a HOAX. You’ll see why after reading the first paragraph.

The message was sent from a FAKE email address — not from Joe Trippi or from Dean for America. Some of you may have already received it through one of your Dean Yahoo groups.

15. Absolutely. All kinds of shannanigans are already going on.
The photoshopped pics of Dean that keep cropping up, for instance. The Hitler one was featured prominently on FR before they took it down.

The right wingnuts are trying to infiltrate and divide. It's getting pretty obvious even this early in the game.

Don't Be Fooled By Cheap Imitations
In the last ten days before the Iowa Caucuses, we're going to be showered with all kinds of distortions and tricks that try to diminish the enthusiasm you've built for this campaign. For instance, today a fake email advertising "Paid internships for Dean" is circulating. It's a fraud, and was not sent by Dean for America.

It's easy to tell if an email is authentic. All official DFA email comes from a deanforamerica.com address, and at the bottom says "Paid for and maintained by Dean for America." Anything else is a fraud, and should be deleted. If you have any doubts about the authenticity of an email, forward it to us at blog@deanforamerica.com.

i disagree. it's not easy to tell if an email is authentic. what's easy is FORGING mail headers. and of course anyone can put "Paid for and maintained by Dean for America." at the bottom of a message.

11. Criminy, that just bites!
I'll say this, if I'd recieved that e-mail, I'd have sent it on to Dean's campaign with a question about its legitimacy. The reference to "homosexuals" is a dead giveaway as far as I'm concerned.

This is the kind of crap I really hate about politics.

14. Also note that "Paid Internship Madness Program" spells PIMP
This is the usual disgusting prank. I hope no one is fooled by it. Anyone who doesn't read this carefully and responds in hopes of a paid job is going to spend the next year getting spammed by freeper jerks.
