3. That was funny
* remembered the names of all the countries. What idiots over there, he's President of the greatest country on earth and they give the guy credit for remembering that. They wouldn't recognize intelligence if walked up and bit them in the ass.

Notes written on his fingers? They are so mind boggled now that they are clutching at straws.

7. if anybody cheated, it was Bush
I swear Bush must have had cue cards up his sleeve, because later in the debate (mabye earlier as well, but I'm just going by memory) I remember seeing Bush repeatedly look down at the podium.

Of course, just looking down at his podium is nothing more than a sign of weakness and insecurity, but he would look down and then come up with a fact. For instance, the one that sticks out in my mind is the statement that went something like this: "I have already spent... (looks down and back up) $200 million for the uh.. (looks down and back up) Iraqi police troops."

I'm not saying he was cheating, since he could have just been acting like the third grader he is, but it wouldn't surprise me.

10. Grasping at straws.
They know their guy looked like a buffoon last night, so they're struggling to find things to fault Kerry with, not to mention looking for a conspiracy behind every corner.

Face it, freeptards. Sometimes an idiot is just an idiot.

16. Bush HAD NOTES! Watch the C-Span Side by Side!
Full page sheets he shuffles through when he thinks camera is off him!!!

Exposed at various points during C-Span split-screen.

I saw this last AM and thought nothing of it. They weren't supposed to bring notes??

He had at least 4 full sized sheets of paper!

17. They were allowed to bring paper to write notes on.
Edited on Sat Oct-02-04 01:46 AM by gauguin57
He was shuffling his papers because he was looking for that cool picture of a horsie he drew three pages ago, to entertain himself after running out of things to say as he stuck to his main themes with -- as Howard Fineman said last night -- "hedgehog-like stubbornness."

www.thetalentshow.org says those notes were these:
