Get ready to spread the "changed his persona" meme!
Edited on Sat Oct-02-04 05:18 PM by Kanzeon
In the next debate Bush will almost certainly appear stiff and artificial in response to his crash and burn performance on Thursday.

Which of course, will beg the question: Why is George W. Bush acting? Why his he so stiff? Who is the real George W. Bush?

(Of course, we all know- we saw it Thursday evening.)

Remember folks, they did this to Gore in 2000, and Bush has totally set himself up for it.

Let's spread this one far and wide especially after the debate.

2. Will the real George W. Bush please stand up? (oh, he is standing)
I think this is a great talking point for our side.

4. The prefect time to push the TWO-FACED memme
Go to http://somnamblst.tripod.com to download high resolution TIF or PDF file to print and distribute everywhere. Utility poles, bus stops, bulletin boards, newspaper racks, car windshields, phone booths, etc. Guerilla marketers needed to create MAXIMUM BUZZ!

5. "They" won't do this to Bush unless WE give them a push.
That's what spin is all about. The talking heads don't come up with this stuff on their own- 30 Kerry advisors, all saying, "Who is the REAL George W. Bush" is what will get it done.

The media loves parallelism. If we make this the narrative of debate #2, they'll lap it up because it reminds them of 2000... many opportunities to show side-by-side analysis of Gore 2000 and Bush 2004.

I like this idea.

7. My point exactly....
this could even be done on RW talk shows, bulletin boards, and of course Randi Rhodes and Al Franken. Spread it far and wide!

Bush "isn't himself" in the 2nd debate.

6. that's exactly what they accused Gore of doing in 2000
after they ganged up on him following the first debate

let's hope they do that to him

he has NO idea how to act, which is the key word

he HAS no natural instincts, other than those he shows when he's cornered, like the lizardbrain he is

whenever he's not in the most tightly controlled circumstances, his backbrain takes over, and it's becoming more and more obvious

I'm really looking forward to this one

hope they up his compazine to the MAX, and he comes out like John Cleese, as Minister of Silly Walks

8. Why is President Bush sending such Mixed Messages to the electorate?
I realize almost nobody has picked up on the Mixed Messages meme,

which surprises me. It's alot more elegant than having everyone stepping over each other with "two faced" and "changed his persona" and whatever other "memes of the day" people have out there.

And none of us started it, Bush did.

Are y'all gonna steal it from Shrub or what?

Bush is sending Mixed Messages with his appearance in debate two.
He complained about this himself in regards to Senator Kerry. But man! Talk about mixed messages! We need a president who appears steadfast and consistent, and doesn't just TALK about being steadfast and consistent when he looks jumpy and twitchy one night, somber and spacey the next. If this is what Bush's like on the stump, what happens if Al Qaeda attacks us on one of his off-days?
