4. He didn't have to dominate

All he had to do was manage a draw and he's a winner. Cheney is the most cold-hearted bastard in Washington, and the lies come so easy that he doesn't even have to flinch or think about what he says. The lies flow like water. He's selling lies and fear because that's all this administration has to sell. Edwards held his own and went toe-to-toe and that's as good as a win.
