Question about Edwards' Senate Record

The one thing that Cheney claimed that felt potentially damaging to me was his characterization of Edwards as someone who virtually failed to show up for work. He cited the number of votes Edwards had missed, and it seemed like an awful lot.

Can anyone shed light on this topic that shows that Edwards was fulfilling his duty as a US Senator?

On the whole, though, I thought Edwards ROCKED!!!!! Personable, human, warm, capable -- all of the qualities Cheney lacks.

1. Prior to 2003 Edwards had a 99% voting record in the Senate. Cheney

lied big time. It's the same crap the Repubs here in NC keep harping. Truth is, Edwards never missed a vote when it was detrimental to the outcome.
