WOULD YOU BUY A USED CAR FROM THAT MAN?
Cheney looked as shifty as Tricky Dick Nixon at his worst. It reminded me of that poster of Nixon with his shifty eyes and five-o-clock shadow, with the question written on it: would you buy a used car from this man?

Cheney kept shifting his eyes from side to side and avoiding eye contact, for all that he tried to sound calm and reasonable. He looked like the crook he is.

As for Edwards, he was a tough pit bull, never conceding an inch. And he looked us all in the eye. Honors to Edwards, without any doubt! Bravo, bravissimo!

1. Quite apart from the body language...
... I hope that the public noticed that when Edwards nailed him on fact, whether about Halliburton or the administration record of the last four years, Cheney side-stepped the issue and jumped to something else, or launched an unrelated attack.

Ask the used-car salesman about the oil leaks under the front end, and the salesman starts talking about how neat the upholstery looks....
