Ifil sucked. She totally screwed up and gave JE a 3rd follow-up. Plus she asked some dumb questions and especially offered follow-ups to Cheney when none were called for. I mean, to cut Cheney some slack, how's he going to do a follow-up on his lesbo daughter when his first response was simply thanking JE for kind words about his daughter?

I think she repeated some same lines of questioning too much. Plus she didn't seemed engaged with the moment like Lehrer but was just trying to get all the questions in within 90 minutes. No fluidness at all.

1. As I've said in a few other posts, she's
the worst I've ever seen on so large a stage.

2. Lousy job. The unanswered thirty to Edwards was particularly egregious
That and her dumb 'you can't mention the presidential candidate's name' question. Are we in grade school? Lehrer, you are so far the best of the mods.

4. Yeah, the questions got stupider as they went along. I couldn't believe
the one where they couldn't use their running mates name. What a joke. Is this a debate or some kind of palor game like charades?

5. She nearly gave him an extra thirty earlier, but luckily caught herself

Maybe she was only nervous, but on PBS I haven't been particularly impressed with her either.
