Debate focus is all wrong! Cheney's success bad for Bush
I watched the entire boring affair. Yes, Cheney lied about meeting Edwards. Yes, Edwards got a little rattled about some silly rule preventing him from saying "John Kerry". Yes, they both spoke in complete, grammatical, understandable and logical ways. Yes, they both appeared knowledgable, smart, and aware.

But we are missing the BIG POINT!

The question we should be asking is not who won the VP debate, but is Shrub truly in control of the WHITE HOUSE? Is it that fumbling, bumbling deer in the headlights Bush? Or is it really Mr. Halliburton pulling the strings behind the scenes?

Clearly, as evil as he is, Cheney understands power, government and has an attention to detail. All of that is painfully lacking in the president. So, our focus should be, in LTTE etc, who is really in charge?

1. Absoloutely, every LTTE and post should emphasize that Bush...
is the candidate for President, not Cheney. Most Americans by far do not like Cheney and do not want him as President. Most Americans now recognize that Bush is a lazy, arrogant idiot. Let's reinforce that at every opportunity.

2. I agree -- over the next few days, this is what it will boil down to...
Cheney's lies during the debate will make the Bush administration look bad.

Any strengths Cheney showed (composure, articulation, calm) will make Bush himself look bad by comparison.

Most Bush supporters are mindless conformists, and as support for Kerry/Edwards continues to grow, it will snowball as more and more of them jump off their sinking ship.

3. It has been clear for a long time that shrub is not in charge
Sept 11, 2001 proved that. Who did the Secret Service protect immediately and rush to a safe place. While the other sat in a grade school and read My Pet Goat?
What does it say when the VP can speak better than the President?

May I rephrase it to the following?

"What does is say when the VP can speak and the President cannot?"

6. I thought the same thing
Cheney is clearly in charge. Boosh is the go to guy cause he's "regular" (stoopid),and Cheney is the evil mad genius behind the boy pretending.

I wish the Boosh lovers cared.
