Does it realy matter? I don't think so. Just because..

- Bu$h faild in the very first debate, and he failed big in a disaster at the end. They changed the debate to have his (supposed to be) strongest as the first and to lock in the election. They simply planned to trash Kerry, cancel number two and/or three and they failed in front of 62 million. No spin could turn this around. The first debate was very clear.

- Cheney cornered himself with his view about Iraq, with his arrogant style and the repeted accusations that we all know since months. Edwards didn't duck in front of 30 years of "expirience" and did much better than I ever thougt he will do. He was a real fighter and did that with style and facts.

- Rumsfeld and Bremer are getting out of control, nobody cares about what Rumsfeld said some hours later. It was so cristal-clear what his motivation was.

I always rated them as "weak", but not even as weak as they are right now. Keep your heads and the fight up like the weeks ago, then Shrub has his pink slip for sure :)!

And yes, time to party, my first thread here on DU :)!

1. weclome to DU!
I'm feeling pretty good today as well, in spite of watching that NY Post idiot on C-Span this morning.

It's fun to put up your 1st thread.

I like your post, but people are fickle. Friday's debate will knock everything else out of the public consciousness, and will be knocked out in turn. What matters is the overall, overreaching feeling that it's time for a change.

:toast: cheers
