can you please report the results - what it was and wheterh it passed?

Ballot Measure #1 - Change length of legislation session in Juneau.

(To Reduce the maximum length of a regular legislative session from 121 days to 90 days)

Outcome: Passed

Ballot Measure #2 - Natural Gas Tax

(To levy a new state tax on certain oil and gas leases overlying large deposits of natural gas)

Outcome: Failed ( The major oil companies spent a kabillion dollars on radio ads, flyers, newspaper articles, television commercials, you name it to make sure this one failed.. and their money paid off)
