What's with Don Young and Arkansas?

I saw a crawl on MSNBC last night saying that Don Young is going to be the congressional chairman of Mike Huckabee's presidential exploratory committee. If I remember correctly Don Young has received a huge amount of campaign contributions from Arkansas businesses. Why is there this reciprocity?

Arkansans gave $113,826 to U.S. Rep.
