TONIGHT!!! FUNDRAISER CONCERT On the Vigil Corner Friday 9-9-05 6:00PM – 8PM (Vigil starts at 6PM / Concert starts at 6:30PM) Ventura and Laurel Canyon Blvds (Parking available after 6PM in the lot behind Washington Mutual, NE corner.)
Join us tonight for a special Vigil and Fundraiser Concert for the victims of Hurricane Katrina and Administration Bush.
Please spread the word. Help Veterans For Peace, an organization that stood with Cindy Sheehan in Crawford and is standing now at ground zero in Louisiana, collect cash and check donations urgently needed by the Veterans for Peace Soup Kitchen & Medical Tent serving incoming evacuees in Covington, Louisiana (26 miles outside of New Orleans). Veterans For Peace will provide receipts with Tax ID number.
You may also make check donations to Operation USA. Their main focus is on recovery, getting materials to community non-profit clinics so they can rebuild.

Last month, our location had the largest turnout in all of Southern California for MoveOn’s Support Cindy Sheehan Vigil. 500 – 600 people came. Please come out again, this time for Veterans For Peace. Great music, speakers and YOU!
