Calling All CA Duers! Help Defeat SOS McPherson's Plan to Bring Diebold...

State Senator Debra Bowen has launched a campaign to tell Schwarzeneggar's hand-picked Secretary of State, Bruce McPherson (who took former Kevin Shelley's post when Aahnold fired the man when he became Governor) NOT to bring back the notoriously inaccurate-easily hacked Diebold machines to California in time for the 2006 mid-term elections.

State Senator Debra Bowen is running for Secretary of State come the next elections, and needs our support.

2. Here is another CA action plan in motion

Diebold put uncertified software in machines in 17 CA counties, according to this 2004 CA Secretary of State Staff Report. In all 17 counties, we are not only resisting Diebold, we are calling into question by all possible means, who in these local elections departments allowed Diebold to do this. 4. Shelley wasn't fired

6. Officially Resigned...Correct, but funny this happened...

...shortly after Aahnold took office after the recall.

Amidst rumors of money-laundering and miscellaneous other activity, Kevin Shelley had no choice but to resign, and I believe he was in tears when he did so publicly; stating that he would never want to harm the office of Secretary of State, and that he did nothing wrong, but he resigned as the rumor mill became louder, and kept his word not to taint the office he held.

He was also the one who went after Diebold full force, and successfully helped to rid California of those treasonous machines.

But you're right, he officially, resigned.

8. What do we call it? He was hounded out of office under

threats of drawn out law suits that he couldn't afford to counter. And God knows, what other threats he was under.

The Reader's Representative at the SF Chronicle has given me his word that the Shelley story will be updated. Let's see if they have the nerve to really do that.

That would be, the San Francisco Chronicle that had huge screaming headlines for WEEKS on their front page about what a corrupt politician Shelley was. Shelley, whose only assist when he left office was HIS FAMILY HOME.
