There has been confirmation from OC poll workers that cty is violating law
Orange county poll workers are being trained not to tell voters about the option of paper ballots. Someone contact Kevin Shelley and get him to enforce his own ruling.

6. I have never entered any other forum other than Lobby/Latest
it would seem that your post somehow migrated out of the california forum!

7. I'm sorry, sister moon. . .
I meant to finish my post.

If you go to User Options, under "Edit Your Preferences" you can block all of the State Forums except for one (in your case, you could keep Florida active). That way, you wouldn't have to see what are, in many cases, postings of a limited, local interest.

At certain times when the Boards get busy, the Administrators override the preference settings and you'll see all the states, along with the other items you may have blocked (the "Lounge" for one).

If you knew this already, I apologize. As I say, I meant to write this with my first post, so it wouldn't seem so snooty. Sorry for any offense.

1. When I voted early
in Irvine, I asked if I could have a paper ballot and they said no, not for early voting, but I could get one if I voted on election day.

4. They were supposed to say yes.
That was the part of the decision that allowed the computers to be re-certified in Orange County.
