Downtown businesses in particular are hurting because of the ongoing Occupation. And the city as a whole could use the tax revenue, even more than usual.

There are plenty of cool shops all over town, especially in Jack London Square, Old Oakland, Temescal and Rockridge. So go down and support the Occupiers and Oakland!
