"..another "bright idea" from california: limit greenhouse gases"

California is "out of step with the rest of the county"

1. What?
Where have you been? Don't you know that the O-Zone is overrated anyways? Right?

Was this from a talking head? Or was it from an anchor him/herself? It sounds like a really arrogant thing to say for a supposedly unbiased news anchor!

2. We Americans are overrated
The World is gonna ratify the Kyoto Treaty with or without us. California is just trying to keep up with the world.

4. The Governator Turned Out To Be A True Centrist!
I really liked Governor Davis! However, despite the fact that he was robbed of his final term, I've found the Governator's administration tolerable. He's made a few big mistakes but his environmental record thus far has been passable for a Republican.

Go figure!

If only he hadn't appeared at the convention! Glad I didn't watch it!

3. They are also trying to attract
foreign investments. EU countries have let it be known that they a more likely to invest in States that have strong environmental rules.

6. Not out of step. Always two steps ahead.

Sometimes it's for the good, and sometimes it's for the bad. My daughter's school tried to pick up the whole language program about the same time that California decided it wasn't working. California at least tries to be innovative, while the rest of the states just don't like change at all. They just want to earn their money the old fashion way. Through backroom access.

8. California may be out of step with the rest of the country.
But that's because the rest of the country is doing a drunken stagger.

9. I rather be out of step and be right
than be in step and be wrong
