Arnold Lambasted over Sexist Joke

http://www.hollywood.com/news/detail/article/2439749

HOLLYWOOD,  April 25, 2005

Schwarzenegger Lambasted over Sexist Joke By WENN ............................................

California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has been branded a sexist again--after mocking pre-menstrual stress during a shocking live radio interview.

The actor-turned-politician sparked outrage last year when he called his Democrat rivals "girlie men."
And he fuelled his reputation as a misogynist April 24 when he told outspoken DJ Howard Stern he wanted to remove the moon, to prevent the mood swings women suffer before their monthly periods.
Schwarzenegger explained, "If we get rid of the moon, women, whose menstrual cycles are governed by the moon, will not get PMS. They will stop bitching and whining."
Dawn Gibson, a horrified listener of the show, complains, "He is appealing to the lowest common denominator."

3. Congrats, Californians, you got rid of Gray Davis......
and got Arnold Schwartzenneger. Now you're mocked by the whole country.

A very old proverb says "Be careful what you ask for, you may get it"

4. Hey--most of us Californians
are as appalled to be represented by Arnold, as we are to be represented by Bush to the rest of the world.
Did NOT vote for the recall, and did NOT vote for Arnold. We did hope for the best, especially with his family relations, once he got in there. We've been sorely disappointed.
He will not be re-elected.

9. I can't point any fingers....My governor is Haley Barbour, who makes
Ahnuld look like a reasonable man, by comparison.

10. You're officially not blamed.....
And, considering my pig of a governor (Haley Barbour) I really don't have the right to criticize anyone.

16. mocked?
Are we really mocked? I'm afraid that the opposite is true. I think that if Schwartzenegger ran for President, he'd have a fair shot at winning.

18. We CA progressives didn't ask for this farce
of a governator. He got the job because some dumbasses like his movies. It is fairly obvious he hasn't a clue what he is doing. Davis was an equally lousy governor. We were not given much of a choice in the past two elections.

Since Ahnold is trying to do in minature to California what Bush is trying to do to the whole country, I think perhaps now is the time for progressives to pull together and keep our mocking for the rightwing nuts.

I didn't vote for Bush and I didn't vote for Ahnold.

11. I'm so happy
to have Janet Napolitano as my governor. She is the best thing since sliced bread. Yesterday she vetoed a bill allowing concealed weapons in bars.

I feel for all of you living in the shadowy hell of low quality governordom...

12. The Governor is a political neophyte that
can't seem to keep himself out of trouble. His ideas would fly if he wasn't so disgusting in how he presented them (and that's a scary thought too!!!).

I voted "No" on the recall (it was nothing but a bold right-wing power grab -- D. Issa anyone? anyone?)and "Yes" on Bustamante. I was realistic enough to see that Gray Davis's days were numbered. I just wish it had been through regular electoral channels.

Now we are stuck with a governor who cares more about image and wining and dining with fat cats to defeat teachers, firefighters, and nurses.

Maria said she wanted him back home. Well, I hope he listens to her.

13. In a day or two he will "apologize" saying his english isn't that good
and what he meant to say was we should land on the moon...or send women to the moon...or something equally stupid.
