if you're going to show it to a bunch of Christian fundamentalists, I'd say it will be pretty effective.

2. From what I can tell

The fundies are everywhere. I'm specifically speaking about protest on the capital her in Denver next weekend. I know it is really about the election, but I figured it doesn't hurt to remind the fundies Bush has no compassion.

3. Too many citations for a fundie.

Very few of them know their bible well at all. Remember, they're positive Jesus says he hates fags and that abortion is murder and children should be beaten regularly, though when you ask them, they can't tell you where to look it up.

I'd pick one quote and use it, but that's me, the rational atheist with a very good grasp of the bable talking.

That is a very short list of bible passaages that contain the word compassion. I'll shorten it up a bit more!

Maybe that message on one side of the sign and an actual compassion quote from the bible on the other?
