NOW do you Miles supporters see why I keep saying that Ken Salazar is more electable? - Wayne

Salazar out front, poll says

Coors has slight GOP edge; AG tops all Senate matchups

State Attorney General Ken Salazar would defeat either of the Republican candidates running for Colorado's open U.S. Senate seat if the election were today, according to a poll for The Denver Post.

Salazar leads brewery executive Pete Coors and former Congressman Bob Schaffer in potential head-to-head contests this November.

<snip>

Nearly one-third of the 300 likely Democratic primary voters in the poll said they had never heard of Miles.

Only 24 percent of them said they had a favorable opinion of the former Army Ranger and diplomat.

Salazar, on the other hand, has strong name recognition. The state's top lawyer earned a 62 percent favorable rating from likely Democratic primary voters. Only 8 percent don't know him.

2. I love Miles
but I want that seat to go to a democrat. In a ideal world Miles would have the nod and win. Alas, this is not an ideal world, and thus I vote for Salazar.
Ken deserves this chance at the senate for standing up to the thugs in the state, and stopping their attempt to rape the constitution with their redistricting effort.
Miles has a great future ahead of him, and I look forward to working for him in future elections.

8. Perhaps he can still help thwart redistricting when he's in D.C.
And help shed even more light on the likes of DeLay and their unamerican machinations.

3. That poll is from June.
Much has happened. I'd love to see some recent poll numbers. We (Miles supporters) are working fast and furious. Watch the debate Saturday at 6pm on channel 9.

5. Still, 800 registered voters
is a TINY TINY number.

We have what, more than million registered Colorado voters?

2.75 million registered voters according to the latest data:

0.02% of the voters.

Hmpf.

7. If It's a Properly Selected Statistical Sample....
...it just as accurate as asking all 2.75 million voters personally.
