Vigil tonight at CNN Center
Wednesday Vigils for 2000 Killed in Iraq
Another painful milestone has been reached in the war: 2,000 American servicemen and servicewomen have been killed as a result of our nation's misguided attack on Iraq. Tens of thousands more young Americans have been wounded, and it is estimated that more than 100,000 Iraqi civilians have died from this unnecessary war.
Please join us In front of the CNN building at the intersection of Marietta Street and Centennial Olympic Park Drive. This is a vigil honoring the dead and wounded victims of the war in Iraq. Instead of honking for peace, let's turn our lights on. Please bring candles and appropriate signs honoring those we (and the Iraqis) have lost.
There are two vigils at this location-the AFSC vigil wiill begin at 4:30pm, and the moveon vigil will begin at 6:30.

Further Directions: The CNN Center parking lot is on Centennial
Olympic Park Drive across from CNN center. There are also various
pay lots in the neighborhood to the Northeast of that intersection.
All of these are expensive, and may be crowded or full.
Parking at a MARTA station outside the downtown area and taking the
train might be the best choice for anyone who has that option. Exit
the train at the first stop on the West line.
