November 2nd! Hawaii Protests Events!
Mobilize for November 2nd!
The World Can't Wait!
Drive Out the Bush Regime!

Here's what's planned for November 2nd so far:
Old Stadium Park: Come to the park anytime between 7 am and 5 pm. From there you can join any of the actions. If you can only stay for a bit you can help paint signs, hold signs in front of the park to call on others to join actions.
UH-Manoa: Gather on McCarthy Mall in front of Hamilton Library at 9:30 am. Come with signs, drums, kazoos, pans, etc. Drive the apathy from the campus, and call people out of class to join the movement. The group will march through campus; calling on others to march down University Avenue to Old Stadium Park.

Downtown: Gather at King/Bishop from 11:30-1:00 pm to form a picket line on the downtown sidewalks. This is a busy area at noon and we'll be able to call on hundreds to join the movement. Tell everyone you know who works downtown, or who goes to HPU or the downtown business colleges about this action, and urge them to join it!

Kapiolani Recruiting Stations from 1:30-3:00. Protest and die-in!

Bike Ride: Gather at 4 pm at Old Stadium Park. This will be a Critical Mass style ride; a route will be given out at the park. All you need is a bike to join. We'll have lots of bright green fluorescent tape and flags to decorate your bikes with.

There are lots of other actions in the brew, including banner drops, an action at KCC, and evening celebrations. For updates call the bulletin board at 534-2255 (534-CALL). If you're planning an action, or know of someone making plans, let us know by e-mail (worldcantwaithawaii@yahoo.com).

In order to really launch the World Can't Wait movement in Hawai`i, everyone needs to get involved! We are hundreds now -- we need to reach many hundreds more! Reach out in your own ways. Or join other organizers getting the word out at:

Friday, October 21: UH-Manoa table at Campus Center from 10-1
Saturday, October 22: Leaflet at the KCC Open Market 8-10 am
Saturday, October 22: Punk gig at Coffee Talk at 7:30 pm ($5 entry)
(observing National Day of Protest Against Police Brutality)
Sunday, October 23: Art in the Park at Old Stadium Park on Sunday, from 12-4.
Meet organizers, help paint banners and signs, pick up materials.
Sunday, October 23: Leaflet at Sunset at the Beach in Waikiki
From 5:30-6:30 pm; just look for the bright green shirts.
Tues, Oct 25: Table at Re:Verses at The Arts at Mark's Garage
Thurs and Fri, Oct 27 & 28: Table at Ozomatli, Kapono's

The World Can't Wait!
Drive Out the Bush Regime!
