Iraq Veterans Against the War: Hawai'i Chapter
Aloha Hawaii Democratic Under-grounders!

As you all know the Resistance Festival kicked off on the 2nd of July. The entertainment and information was more than cool! Thanks to everyone who had a hand in that.

By pure fluke, I was able to meet and have an explosive weekend with co-founder of Iraq Veterans Against the War Tim Goodrich. After expressing my interest in not only the anti-war movement but also the Veterans against the War movement, it was decided that I would start the first chapter of Iraq Veterans Against the War (IVAW) here in Hawaii.

At this time we are all but a humble few … mostly due to lack of advertisement and word of mouth from just since last weekend. I am hoping to have the word spread quite fast once we get some more face time with people at future events.

I ask for all you to pass the word around!! We Iraq, Afghanistan, and overall “Global war of terrorism” Vets want our voices heard! We were there and we can help stop this war by using the first-hand experiences that Uncle Sam forgot to deprogram from us when we got out!

Just a quick word on IVAW:
IVAW was formed last summer by Tim Goodrich & Mike Hoffman … our mission is threefold:
1. BRING ALL TROOPS HOME NOW.
2. Assist in any way in the rebuilding of Iraq
3. Support our veterans NOW and when they come HOME.

Remember people, you can support the troops and NOT THE WAR!

My Name is: Joshua Dawson

My email is: ivawhawaii@hotmail.com

I look forward to hearing from all of you!!

Joshua

3. Good job, IVAW is a good group.
Mike Hoffman gave a speech in my town recently, very good, quiet, outspoken, tolerant, straightforward speech about what war really is. Good thing to do and be involved in. Thank you.
