John Edwards and Ted Kennedy Rally in DC tomorrow
Dear DC DU'ers,

I posted this message on the GD-Politics forum, but someone from Virginia suggested I post here.

From the One America Site (http://blog.oneamericacommittee.com/story/2006/4/5/122917/3345):

Senator Edwards will join Senator Kennedy for a minimum wage rally in Washington D.C. tomorrow morning. The event will take place at Upper Senate Park on the corner of Constitution Ave. and Delaware Ave. on April 6th at 11:30 AM. So if you're in the D.C. area - or if you're up for a road trip! - attend the rally. Your voice will greatly strengthen our call for change.

The petition started by Senators Edwards and Kennedy has already garnered nearly 90,000 citizen co-sponsors for Senator Kennedy's bill to raise the federal minimum wage. The goal is to push that total upwards of 100,000 by the time the rally kicks off. So if you haven't already, please add your signature to this important petition, and be sure to forward that link on to your friends so that they too can sign.

If you cannot attend the rally, you can still participate by signing a petition that Senator Kennedy has going:

Hope you DU'ers can join the senators tomorrow!

Thanks, Benny05
