William Cellini indicted.
http://www.chicagobreakingnews.com/2008/10/hed-tk.html

This person is a Republican insider. He has been indicted by a grand jury in the Operation Board Games scandal. He figured prominently in the Rezko trial. Republican or not, he has connections to Blagojevich, too.

We need to clean up our party in Springfield. I am sick of the Blago, Madigan and Jones infighting. We need a Democratic gubernatorial primary in 2010. I shudder at the thought of voting for Blagojevich and having him continue as our governor.

2. Quad Cities?
That is not very far from me.

I go to some political events in the 17th District. I wish my area had as vital a Democratic party as yours. They do help me and the Democrats in my county. I learn a lot from them, too.

3. lisa will run, lisa will win.
blaggo has been set up to , and the bait has been swallowed by all, on both sides, imho. i do not know the actual truth. i just know that we have had nothing but republican pigs at the trough for my lifetime with 2 exceptions- dan walker and blaggo. both got quite the paint job in the media. just all smells a little much for me.
smells. 'sall i'm sayin'

4. I am not taking any sides here.
Seeing things from the point of view of a party chairman, and having some acquaintance with the gentlemen in question, all I will say is that the power struggle between these three only hurts our party.

Blago will almost certainly be indicted. Some in our party welcome this. Not me.

I will be glad to see Lisa run and win. We need a clean start.

5. personally, i suspect
that mike madigan has done as much evil if not more than blaggo, indictable and otherwise. blaming blaggo for the mess? can't do it.

6. That is pretty accurate.
But Madigan will never take a fall, just like Rove.

Madigan has more power than many people realize. We are not a part of the fifty state strategy, in large part because of him. But speaking of Rove, that asshat has been kept out of our state because he met his match in some of our power players. Madigan is not the only one who kept Rove out. But he has power most people don't recognize.

Rove lost his effectiveness when his name became a household word. At least in Illinois, the same may be coming true for Madigan. Shining the light of day on these slugs is a death warrant.

However it sorts out, we can't have Blago as our governor again. He has been tainted. He is bad for the party.
