I will point out that the Riviera Club did not allow membership for Blacks and for non-Christians, meaning Jews. This is why Jews had the Broadmoor Club. I don't know when those policies were changed, or if they were changed at all.
Riviera Club in financial pinch
Northside bastion raising dues, imposing fee to bolster funding

The Riviera Club, a destination for generations of Northside swimmers, has raised its dues and assessed its members a one-time fee in order to keep its finances and itself afloat.
Club officials explained the dues hike, the assessment fee and the club's future during three member meetings over the past three days. The fee, which is $400 per family but less for singles and empty-nesters, is projected to raise about $750,000 to cover unpaid vendor bills and outstanding debt, to build a cash reserve and to fund needed improvements on the club's outdoor diving tank and indoor diving platform.
The Riviera, known to many as "The Rivie," has lost $330,000 over the last two years and is expecting another $100,000 cash-flow shortfall in the first quarter before members' dues start rolling in, according to a letter sent to members two weeks ago.
Dues, which had not been increased over time to keep up with expenses, have been hiked about $100 per adult but reduced for children. Annual dues for a family of five, under the new schedule, would be about $770. Increased dues are designed to cover higher insurance and maintenance costs on the 70-year-old facility.
