Democratic rally in Terre Haute yesterday.
I attend the Terre Haute Democratic rally yesterday, which was hosted by Brad Ellsworth, whom I also had the chance to meet and express myself briefly. I like Brad, even though we disagree on a couple of issues, I think he is doing well and represents well.

The rally was also an opportunity for the other Democratic candidates to introduce themselves.

The place was full, and there were no tea baggers or other annoyances that ruined the positive atmosphere. I find it extremely hard to believe that Dems are going to loose in this primary or in November, perhaps a few, but the pukes that are harping on that they will be victorious in these upcoming elections and the Dems will lose their majority is just bullshit and hyperbole.

After seeing the amount of people that were at this rally, I find that the pukes may in fact be in for a rude awakening.

1. A couple of issues? Like reproductive and LGBT rights?
Those are core issues, and anyone that stands in opposition to such basic human rights won't get my vote, my support, or my prayers.

2. I have worked to persuade him to change his position on such things
and will continue to do so.

But my overall feel about Brad is a good one and I do not dislike him. I get the feeling that you, Indiana Green, will not be satisfied until a third party candidate is elected to office.

3. In this particular case, I wish we had a Liberal Democrat Party as they do in UK
and reject the bankruptcy and corruption of the two party system.

Ellsworth won't get my vote. I will be too busy trying to get Carson reelected. Carson has marched in our PRIDE parade, while Ellsworth won't even meet with Indiana Equality!

4. I just talked to Brad Ellsworth....
and he said he would meet with anyone, if they would extend the request to him and he actually took part in the Stonewall event.

Brad is not homophobic and has no issues with gay community.

So please tell Indiana Equality to contact his office and set a meeting with Brad.
