Homophobe State Senator Kenneth Veenstra Loses Primary
Secretary of State's page shows him losing 6131-5129 to his GOP opponent. Veenstra is a real Sioux County religious nutjob so it will be good to see him go. His opponent would have to be a conservative but don't know if he's a vocal fundi like Veenstra was.

1. Hopefully this is good news
Depends on how much of a nutjob his opponent is. I was in that part of the state several weeks ago, and don't plan on going back anytime soon. Way too many fundies around. Did I hear correctly that there is no dem candidate to run against him? I realize there would be a pretty slim chance of a dem winning anything in that corner of the state, but it would be nice if someone would at least give it a shot.
