Hey Seth, Clinton receives another endorsement

Mauro endorses Clinton for president

DES MOINES, Iowa - Iowa Secretary of State Michael Mauro has endorsed Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Mauro made his announcement Wednesday at an event in Des Moines, according to a Clinton campaign statement. He says the New York senator stands out among the other candidates and doesn't have a "learning curve."

Mauro says no one is more qualified or ready to lead than Clinton.

Clinton says she admires Mauro's commitment to education and that he understands the need for change in Iowa.

++++++

Question...what does Clinton mean by Mauro's commitment to education and the need for change in Iowa? Didn't Mauro just get elected? Along with Culver? Along with the Democratic majority? What the heck would we want to change?

6. Agree all around
It is all good fun- If Oprah were driving caucus goers to the polls then it might have an impact. I would bet Oprah does not bring one new caucus goer that was not already in the Gobama camp already.
If The Boss couldn't put Kerry over the top:)...

9. No....then again...do you?
I was just teasing Rambis b/c Kevin Bacon was a celebrity endorser for John Edwards (although I don't recall him giving a speech about how he's never been involved in politics but knows JE is 'the one' and we should all vote for him :eyes:).

Oh, the western half of the state?

Ha ha.

Seriously though, who knows. Check out any campaign's recent statements...they all talk about change somewhere. It's like a bad case of that old mad lib game, only they put 'Change', 'Leadership', and 'Experience' in for every blank.
