what do I hear but CHRISTMAS MUSIC? Lordy, lordy. What great use of the public airwaves! Found another one later in the day both out of CR I think.
So with all that is going on in the world I can go to the TV and get basically one voice for corporate news or the radio which gives me clearchannel approved music, christmas music, right wing talk and NPR (which dare not offend its sponsors), corporate newspapers and the internet. Thank god for the internet.
Makes me think of the very short exchange I had with Obama in Muscatine when he took questions:
me:I'll make it short. Fairness Doctrine?
o: no
me: internet?
o: absolutely.
me: Thank you.

1. I haven't listened to RW radio since the election but it seemed like the Fairness Doctrine

was a daily topic before the election. Rush, Hannity, Bortz, even the local (and loco) dipshits would drone on and on about it. They were all worried about losing air time. I suppose it was a way to rile up their listeners.

I don't see it happening for a lot of reasons. Did Obama elaborate?
