We can't seem to be in the same place at the same time. Wish he would have come to Black Hawk.

4. I've got confirmations from all the gubernatorial candidates

for the Linn County event (Hall of Fame Dinner & Dance) on April 8th. The downside is that tickets are $50 each (does include dinner, door prizes, dancing, etc.)

2. Looks like I get some quality time w/Dr. McGuire

Actually I went to their press conference in Black Hawk on Thursday, so I've already seen her once.

She seems really nice, with a nice family.

I know she'll come to Black Hawk and appeal to all the women here who are concerned about Blouin's positions. I hope women in Black Hawk County won't be fooled (again) by a well dressed-well versed-professional woman who, although she's made some interesting political choices in the past, is NOW REALLY a Democrat.

I mean she's an INDEPENDENT WOMAN, I guess us Democratic women who have voted straight Party for the last several years are just a bunch of idiots who can't speak for ourselves :eyes:

I'll sit in the back of the room and watch who gets taken in and who rolls their eyes - but knowing Black Hawk's history.....well, I'll be sitting in the back of the room being pretty lonely.
