Saw Bruce Braley in DC today

Today at the DNC headquarters Bruce did some stumping to a crowd of labor representatives. House Minority Whip Steny Hoyer came by as did Sen. Harkin. Bruce did a great job getting the attention of the audience. The Mexican food was pretty good too. That was about it, I had to leave quickly.

2. Hope he's raising some big-bucks out there

to keep up w/Whalen's ultrarich-ultrasecret fund raising here in Iowa. The FEC reporting deadline is Friday and reports will be filed on the 15th. Braley needs to be right up there with Whalen money-wise (w/out putting $340,000 of his own cash in)!

to take back that seat into democratic hands. Seriously! How did that district go Nussle for so long. Voters over in the 3rd have done a lot over the years to enable the Republican majority to cut taxes and explode the deficit.
