D.A. Warns Shawnee Mission School District

This warning letter was in response to several unrelated incidents. Does anyone else get the feeling that Morrison (who switched to the Dem party to run against Kline) is looking for opportunities to make himself look tough?

Johnson County District Attorney Paul Morrison warned Shawnee Mission School District officials to comply with state laws or face punishment.

KMBC's Jim Flink reported that Morrison sent a terse letter to the school district to shape up.

"The letter is terse and it's terse for a reason," Morrison said.

Morrison said that the three-page letter issued Tuesday is a final warning.

"You need to understand the law or you're in trouble," Morrison said.

1. He's always been pretty hard nosed

And I am going to defend him for doing this. The school district DID screw up. He could be pressing charges. He is doing them a favor by sending this letter instead.
