We have a candidate to run against Jenkins, although Cheryl Hudspeth of Girard is still talking about running. Koch has filed, and has been touring the district, going to Pittsburg, Topeka, Lawrence, and Miami County. He has been active in Leavenworth County Democrats, where he is treasurer - www.lvcodem.com

In spite of his name, he is no relation to the Wichita billionaires, as seen by his meager fundraising http://www.actblue.com/entity/fundraisers/24547

The Cook report shows the seat as "safe Republican" and that's probably true, but it's nice to have a candidate.
