Some interesting questions arose about Mike Pompeo
Edited on Sat Jul-24-10 06:51 AM by pipoman
at a local forum yesterday. One of the locals drilled this clown starting with his claim to have patrolled the German section of the iron curtain. Turns out that the local guy had been an enlisted soldier who actually did patrol the border, he told Pompeo that in his years on the border he had not seen a single 'top of the class' Westpoint graduate 'on patrol', by the time the local let up Pompeo had backed up on the claim. Next the local asked why a 'top of his class' West Point graduate would only serve one term? No answer. Then apparently Pompeo claims to have been ceo of a wichita air plane company, the local asked what happened there. Pompeo said that the company was sold. The local said that the company was going broke and was sold for the debt. Pompeo didn't confirm or deny. Next the local asked about the current company Pompeo is CEO of, Sentry International. This company claims to sell oil field equipment. The local guy said he couldn't, after much investigation, find who owns Sentry or where the 50 million dollar value comes from. Pompeo didn't answer and said that his time was up and left.

Afterward I spoke to the local guy who said he believes Pompeo is a puppet for some much larger concern. This guy said it smells like Haliburton to him.

It was fun watching this ultra con sweat..

Running against Wink Hartman in the rethug primaries for Tiahart's seat..unfortunately the best we can hope for probably is Jean Schodorf.

5. Yep, he's a great candidate
the history of that seat combined with Raj's campaign strategy of only campaigning Wichita probably differs his chances. He simply must make himself known to Indies in this area to win and that isn't going to happen if he doesn't spend time in every town in the district.

7. I said,
"unfortunately the best we can hope for probably is Jean Schodorf", she is a rino. The history of this seat is mostly rethug. Glickman had the seat for a long time but he took the Indie votes outside of Wichita. The aircraft unions supported him strongly and the unions were themselves cohesive and strong at the time...not so much any longer. It wouldn't be impossible for Raj, but he isn't going to win by hanging out in Wichita all the time.

8. Hutchinson also used to be in the district. In 1990, it was taken out

which hurts them Dems. I think Goyle has a good shot. I don't see Schodorf getting them nom. In my neighborhood, I see mostly Harttman signs in the Repub yards but I have not paid much attention to them. It just seems to me hartman and Pompeo are fighting about who is crazier. (and neither is saying the other is crazy---they want to nutso title!)

10. Did you see how Mike Pompeo took advantage of the Marine Corp yesterday? > link
http://thinkprogress.org/2010/08/12/turban-topper

Pompeo tweeted a Newsvine quote from a retired gunny named Pinkstaff, who is/was campaigning for Pompeo in Marine uniform on Newsvine and Pinkstaff said some pretty horrible stuff that Pompeo was using.

So Pompeo, by means of the internet, makes it look as though the U.S. Marine Corps hates non-Christians and Muslims in particular, NOT very good conditions for our men and women IN HARMS' WAY already, right?

When the story hit FaceBook, I went to Newsvine and saw that several people had already hammered Pinkstaff for his racist bullshit. I posted that I didn't think he should be campaigning for a candidate in his uniform, retired or not, and that what was going on though Twitter increased the threat to our troops.

Pinkstaff's page only stayed up for about another hour after I posted there. Newsvine took it down.

I am a Veteran too, though not a combat one. I hope you will share this information with your friends. Americans need to stop USING their military however serves their own private agendas and then pretty much ignoring the DANGER that the troops are in.

Thanks for reading this.
