could this be whats driving the economy

Is it only outrageous price increases that is driving our economy? where is the increase in production? we have a lot of data that the american family is borrowing way beyond its means to
maintain the status quo. but we have little data to support increased production.
we have a lot of data to support little or no pay increases since 2000!
gas,heating fuel,food and clothing all our necessities to survive have doubled while wages and
benefits have been suppressed.this seems to me like a formula for failure.
when the working man has no money to spend the wheel stops spinning!
