well get out the vasoline!
I think they are going to manage like longley did! nothing new,no upkeep on equipment! cuts in health and welfare! and ten years after they leave office we will finally bring up to par our equipment the state employees need to operate efficently!
that deal cost us taxpayers millions! this one will cost us billions!

I've heard several people mention the Longley era as a parallel to what we face for the next few years. That's not something that fills me with joy, of course. It took years to recover from his policies, and the UMaine System never did IMO.

Speaking of which, I wonder if John Martin will be able to keep UMaine-Fort Kent or MSSM open in the new regime.
