Today I received my ANNUAL card to remind me that

I am a Florida resident and have Homestead in FL. Although I live in Maine 5 months of the year and in FL 7 months, I am a FL resident. The reason I am writing this is to show Mainers that there is no way LePage and his wife could have "forgotten" they were FL residents and not Maine residents. The simple fact is that they were claiming FL residency to get in state tuition for their daughter. The card has a place to check if the address that is printed on the card is no longer your permanent residence, sign it, and send it back to your FL county. How hard is that???

I think it is a toss up who has the worst newly elected Governor, Maine or Florida. We elected a crook and Maine elected an idiot. What is wrong with voters?

1. If all you need to win is a plurality...

...and LePage didn't clear 40% of the vote -- and you appeal to the worst in people, you can win.

There are enough people who are just basically shits to swing an election under those constraints.

2. There a lot of conservatives in upper state ME.

Tea bagger mentality. Think global warming is a hoax. Plus baldaci was a republican before he was a democrat...and in the Family. He hurt democrats in ME.Kind of like clinton on a national scale.
