Baltimore Health Commissioner Peter Beilenson is in the race. Any handicappers care to venture their thoughts?

1. there are some good candidates running
Paula Hollinger, Beilenson, Neil Quinter. Possibly Jon Cardin. Maybe even Janet Owens.

2. I won't support Hollinger or Cardin...
Because of their parts in ensuring that we didn't get Verified Voting legislation passed this session. Hollinger refused to allow the bill to leave her committee, and Cardin introduced the competing "study" bill that would have had the issue just studied to death rather than actually resolved. (That bill passed, but Ehrlich vetoed it.)

I've heard good things about Peter Beilenson, but don't have any first-hand knowledge of him. Same with Janet Owens.

Neil Quinter will be speaking at Democracy for Howard County's July Meetup (7pm on July 11th, Elkridge Library) for anyone interested!
